NEW LITERATURES IN ENGLISH
Objectives :
∙ To provide an exposure to the new literatures produced from countries like India,
           Pakistan, Bangladesh, African nations like Nigeria, Canada, New Zealand, and
∙ To inspire students to study these literatures in a critical and comparative vein with
          those produced from the heartlands of English literatures like America and England.
∙ To provide a general idea of literatures from nations where English reached as the
∙ To introduce students to the ideological concerns shaping such literatures.
∙ To initiate in them an interest for other cultures on different parts of the globe and
           train them to appreciate the differences in culture and identity and the need for
           such differences and variety.

  2. Some of the links do not work. When clicked the link of Kamau Braithwaite, 'only invited persons have access', and the fiction 'I will marry when I want' can't be downloaded as it is a broken link or so.
